I managed to get my week’s all confused in the album and ended up with two weeks totally out of order. I’m grateful now that I didn’t start labeling them, I don’t mind it being un-chronological, the main problem is that I don’t use the same page protectors week after week, I alternate the 9 pocket and the 7 pocket ones so trying to fix the mistake ended up being a nightmare, so I just left it.
This week’s pages ended up being a very awesome combination of pink and grey. Two of my favourite colors!
It’s funny, I sometimes have pages that are all about me and what I’m doing, but this one is definitely all about Max and what he is up to these days. I also included my current book (Swing Time, amazing!) and Kristyn and I caught Logan last week (we were not really expecting what it was… still not 100% sure of my feelings about it, the story was great, but the violence factor was a little higher than I typically enjoy. Actually maybe it was just a little gritty for me. Too real?)
I used very minimal embellishing and journaling here. Those pink chipboard pieces are one of the reasons I love buying from the same manufacturer. It doesn’t look it here because of the editing, but the heart and the pencil match the card on the right side so well and all theee items came in different kits years apart. That makes my stash so usable.
The book cover is actually mounted on a small piece of page protector so that you can lift it up and read my thoughts on the book underneath. I just used rolling adhesive to attach the book cover to the plastic, then stapled the plastic right onto the page protector itself. I should have gone through the card as well, but I wasn’t thinking it through totally.
