Today is release day for a new collection from Sahin Designs called Cozy Day. It was so easy to work with as we quickly entered some crazy winter weather here in Alberta and the snow makes you want to stay inside!
This spread uses my Thanksgiving photos (which were also included in my Traveler’s Notebook, but I like to have big events represented in my Project Life as well, last year I didn’t and it felt kind of empty with out some of my big events).
Right Side view, I sure love all these kids. They are a fun bunch.
Left Side view. This one has some great photos from around the house on the Sunday morning as Max and I got ready (or didn’t get ready) to head out and visit family. Mouse Soup is the current favorite story around here.
Above and below here, you can see the stamp elements of the Cozy Day kit that I printed on my laser printer and then “minc-ed” through my laminator (otherwise known as the cheap way to minc) This was using Minc brand foil and a cheap $20 laminator that I bought at Walmart years ago. For those interested, it is a Swingline Laminator. I found better success when using thin copy paper as a carrier folder than cardstock, I think it need the highest amount of heat you can give it!
(excuse my very poor cutting skills, I didn’t have a punch this size, next time I will check BEFORE I print that I will be able to punch it out.)
Head on over to the Sahin Designs blog to see more inspiration from the other Creative Team members, and over to her site to purchase the bundle!
