Hello March. I kind of fell off of the blog train in February and barely posted, but it didn’t stop me from keeping up with my Project Life pages and posting on Instagram. We had a really tough month of sickness around here this month as well, Max was sick at the beginning of the month, and Chris took the last two weeks.
One thing I was looking forward to was the March OLW prompt, a vision board. I already knew that I wouldn’t do the classic vision board as I already altered the prompt last year to fit me, but when Ali changed her approach too I wanted to stretch it a little further. I was going for a more magazine style spread, and in that vein I used a font similar to the VOGUE font called Dubiel, you can find it on dafont.com.
Bit of a failure here. We did eat well, but mostly leftovers and eating up the things we had in the pantry and the freezer, so I cannot share a brilliant meal plan with you this month.
Drink More Water (less Soda)
This was less of a success at home and more at work. I brought a mug to work instead of using my waterbottle and its been much easier to keep track of refilling it and drinking through the workday. Now just to get similar habits built at home as well.
Read a New Book
I went to the library and took home a few books all while Max had an epic meltdown which was so bad it resulted in him leaving the library with no pants on…. despite that, I found the latest Shopaholic book on the way out. I think Becky Brandon nee Bloomwood is my spirit animal….. or maybe just really well written and complex.
Do One Creative Project a Month
I accomplished a few projects this month, a new bow tie for Max and also a little apron. Both were for a wedding that Chris MC’d at the beginning of the month, and were such fun.
Practice Yoga 12 times a month
I did finally find a way to practice at home, and put it on the calendar, but with both of my guys being sick, I haven’t managed to practice as often as I was hoping.
I hope you enjoyed my vision board for the ways I would like to include Balance in my life for this month, I’ll check back with you in April to let you know how it goes!
