Day 21 is in the books. It has been so fun to do this project, and it is also so weird to think about all the stories that didn’t make it in the book, even though so many did. This page is two stories, one that is done and one that isn’t. The front features Max’s favourite ornament (the bus) and that side is done. I ended up cutting down “the details” 4×6 card because I had smudged it taking it out of the package and couldn’t seen anything but the smudge any more. Thankfully it was outside of the 3×4 area!
The back side is something that has been percolating in my mind since Sunday and then yesterday Liz Tamanaha did a post exactly like this. So this is totally a stolen idea. I would normally say own it, but there are a few specific cases when you shouldn’t; when you buy Caesar salad from Superstore and it’s awesome there is no need to claim it as your own original recipe, like wise the small chocolate covered cheesecakes from the freezer section. I am comfortable enough that I can make awesome food that I don’t need to claim those things as my own. Similarly, when you scraplift from someone awesome, go ahead and tell it like it is.
It is unfinished because I have a GREAT idea for finishing it. I love to buy my family pajamas every year for Christmas Eve and they are currently wrapped under the tree, sooooooo once everyone has opened them we will take some photos in our jamjams and add them here. The song idea had been in my head since our drive to pick up Max from my parents on Sunday where we tried to guess each other’s favourite carols (neither of us got it).
